For three years, Linda Wood Feldman of Durham shared a studio with Pat MacGillis of Del Mar, California. Although they were never at the West Coast studio at the same time, they began to influence each other in unspoken ways, and their work now bears a resemblance in color and theme.

“The End Result� is a two-person show featuring Feldman and MacGillis at the Gateway Gallery of Great Bay Community College at Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth, on display through Sept. 14. The primarily abstract exhibit reveals a shared interest in nature and its ability to surprise.
