UNH unveils final draft of campus master plan
The lastest version—and the final update—of the University of New Hampshire Master Plan, which had previously been criticized for its impact on the school’s agricultural lands, will be discussed in a public presentation and forum in Durham on Thursday, Oct. 18, 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Huddleston Hall Ballroom on Main Street in Durham.
The final draft master plan is available for review at www.unh.edu/cmp. Email comments are welcome at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
In a previous draft, the school had considered converting core space on the campus from agricultural lands to retail development, which prompted concerns from the campus as well as the community.
After next week’s forum, the finished document will be turned over to UNH president Mark Huddleston for his review, according to the press release.
