Keyboardist extraordinaire Marco Benevento has become a veritable regular on the Seacoast. He’s performed at The Stone Church in Newmarket in various formats, and last year played several shows at The Red Door in Portsmouth.

This fall, Benevento will make two more local appearances. He’ll play at The Press Room in Portsmouth on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 17 and 18, in support of his forthcoming album, “TigerFace,” due out next month.

The Brooklyn-based artist has been involved in numerous projects over the last decade. He caught the music world’s attention as half of the Benevento/Russo Duo, and both members of that group later toured with Phish. He’s also a member of Garage A Trois and other bands, and has recorded several CDs under his own name.

The two October shows start at 9 p.m. at The Press Room, 77 Daniel St., Portsmouth, 603-431-5186. Tickets are $15.
