Skyhaven gets funds for upgrades
Skyhaven Airport in Rochester has received federal funding for operational improvements through a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The airport will receive $3.4 million, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen announced.
Skyhaven will use the funds to rehabilitate runways, helping to reduce maintenance costs and ensure operational safety. The Dillant-Hopkins Airport in Keene received will receive $4.45 million in funding for the same purpose.
Both grants were made possible through long-term authorization of the Federal Aviation Administration, which Shaheen supported.
